Looked great and made the players/team look hard as f***!

It's true isn't it. Certain colours really do give the team a bigger and better presence on the pitch.

This strip will travel well. ;-)

Must admit I'm warming to the new kit a little but still much prefer the navy and all black version of two years ago. Richards looked a beast today in the new kit.

I'm actually starting to see the appeal of the stripes when the arms are raised now. I made sure to look at the team together after each goal. (seams to happen quite a bit with City now-a-days...)

It gives a nice effect. Now when the arms are down, that's an entirely different matter...

The black shorts and socks were definitely the right choice and I don't see anything of AC Milan there really.

love it, we looked so cool.

my first ever shirt was a red and black one and it brings back childhood mermories. it did seem to give us a powerfull presence aswell

It was nice to see the red and black strip back as it brings back great memories of us, I think this is the best red/black we have had since it was first used as the one we had back in 08 was a bit rushed and the one we had before that was sligthly better than the 08 one but this one is by far the best since we first used it

The exaggerated black piece on the back under the collar let it down. Other than that it's a nice, not stunning, kit

That black one was totally spoilt by extremely gay white socks.
The only time white socks should be worn is with an all white kit

i have got the 1972 version and love it, the new one is just what it should be, a modernised version of a classic football shirt, stop fucking whining about it, if you dont like it dont buy it! what you going to do, close your eyes when we wear it??? if it affects the football in any way (manyoos grey shirt), then fine, if not, shut up!!

Got a mate bringing it over in a couple of weeks. Can't wait. I actually think it looks smart and I like the fact that the badge and the sponsor stand out very well.

The stripes on the sleeves would look top with a few blues linking together and doing the Poznan in it for sure.

Horizon programme (BBC 2, 2 weeks ago) showed how wearing red makes a team more likely to win. Hate this idea but it is scientific fact - both biologically and statistically - so can't be ignored!! Apparently, blue causes a calmness and reduces a team's aggression.

Maybe our red and black kit will increase our chances of winning away this season??

what does the pink color affect? remember like 4 years ago when 4~5 Italian clubs (Juve, Sampdoria, Palermo..etc) made it as their 2nd/3rd kit for some reason..

The red and black stripes was Big Mal's idea he want to adopt this as the permanent home kit dropping the sky blue Mal wanted the team to look bigger and the stripes do have that effect and as a previous poster allude red makes a ten more likely to win
