Remember all that tick-tocking after Sheikh Mansour took over and we first heard about his ambitions for the club? We knew then, of course, that it would take time for things to truly change. In the first two years, we still lost out to the likes of Tottenham when it came to qualification for the Champs League, and we still lost semi finals to the scum and they still seemed to get the better of us (usually in the last bastard minute) in most of the derbies played under the Leslie regime and during the first few months of Bobby's arrival. It didn't feel much different to be a City fan during the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons, though we knew it was coming.

So in the period after the Sheikh's intervention, which City game/performance made you think these ambitions and dreams were turning into reality?

The Wembley S/F was the one for me.

Before I read your last sentence, that is exactly what I was thinking.

For some reason, it seemed to change the players' mentality, not only towards scum, but also towards all other teams.

Maybe it changes the manager's too and he realised we had the players to go out and attack teams.

Mind you, I don't suppose the arrival of Kun Agüero did any harm in that respect.

It's the semi-final for me as well, the team just seemed to have that look about them.I remember thinking after the game that not only were we going on to win the cup but that this was the start of a period of domination,I remember saying to a filthy rag that they had better get used to it,tick, tock indeed.

Do you just post about the rags?

Considering you have "8 points clear and you fucked it up" as your location, you are either stupid or a wum.
You decide.

Check my post's compared to Pam's, I hate the rags as much as her, I laugh at what the plastics say on ragcafe but not every post is about that lot.

Before you ask, yes they fucked it up, I'd say the same if it was City.

In fairness, mate i hate the rags too but i think Pam hates them more than the pair of us and there's nowt wrong with that.

If you have bought the 2011/12 DVD , the chairmen makes a great point about "typical city" , he wants all fans to forget about "typical city" , easier said than done , but i will keep on taking the happy pills.
