ticket prices for semi- final

I don't give a fuck what the mail says. pure click bait. the fa don't want us there, its that simple. we are thorn in their side. we know who they want contesting finals every year, sadly they aren't good enough, even with weak draws and refs assistance. if, and its a big if, the fa were football orientated the semi final would be at a neutral ground, even the swamp if need be, and you'd then get a full of evenly numbered fans. truth is once their darlings are out its all about getting Wembley paid off.

Sly Sports are now on it.

Eamoon Holmes must be pulling one off in the Sly News studio, desperate to tell the 758mill United fans around the UK and the World that can't be arsed going tonight.

No link, but this bit from the article.

When asked for an update on Thursday, City confirmed to Sky Sports News HQ that less than 2,000 seats remain on sale, and these will be available to buy up until the end of play tomorrow.

Supporters wishing to buy tickets must have a previous purchase history or be Manchester City Card Holders - which is a stipulation laid down by the FA.

Im in block 137, but was wondering which blocks usually stand in the first tier, is it pretty much all behind the net ? want to try and stand with my brother/mates who are behind the net.

London based clubs could argue that they never get a day out with thousands of their own.
I think the problem we have is the day its being played , not where we are playing it

They get the same allocation as other sides for finals and semis with no travelling compared to Northen teams, do you think they'd rather travel to the midlands or wherever just for a day out. !!'

Pity Sky dont focus their attention that there are thousands of tickets still on sale for the swamp tonight .

Seem to recall Chelsea not selling out their 20k or less allocation for the charity shield at Villa Park as it meant them travelling a bit further than Wembley. Had this game been played at 3.00 at the swamp then we would have sold out no problem and Arsenal would have struggled. The FA, broadcasters etc just don't care about the travelling fans as they will claim that they are reaching out to far more who want to watch the game on TV. Wonder how they would react if we reach the final and the club buys all the tickets up so there are none to return but nobody actually attends.

Too many games at Wembley that's the problem, LC Final, FA Semis, Cup Final, Community Shield...basically if you win the FA Cup you will go to Wembley 3 times in 4 months - this means not only the cost is high but the 'magic of Wembley' will be lessened, not for Finals obviously, but for Semis and the CS. I'd be all for scrapping Community Shield altogether.
