Help needed please folks.

My son has come come down with food poisoning and can't go today, we are flexible gold season ticket holders. My adult daughter would like to attend but isn't a member. If we turned up and she used his U18 card would she be turned away at the gate or would she get in?

The lights on gate flash green for adult ticket and orange for U18/older person tickets.

Never been challenged once on this. The majority of the stewards don’t search properly and are completely disinterested. You won’t get stopped and if you do, be honest, tell them it’s down to illness and they’ll probably just wave your daughter through, at worst they’ll let you do an upgrade at the ticket office. Don’t worry, you really won’t need an upgrade.

Fine if the daughter is U18 even if stopped.

If she is 35 there could be a problem, depends on timing, how busy, the turnstile and who is working.

You can go to the ticket office and have the ticket upgraded to an adult ticket, paying the difference
