I know someone who has a season ticket and can't go tomorrow, but i can't physically get the ticket off them in time as they live overseas. Is there any way around this sort of thing, maybe with the ticket office transfering the game onto an access card for me to pick up?

My guess would be no, as surely people could abuse that, right, not to mention the amount of messing about involved, and besides, once a ticket's paid for there's no real incentive for the club to make sure a bum's on a seat in every single case, is there?

You would have to say you are your mate and the ticket is lost I do not think they are transferable

get his name, address, dob. go to the ticket offcie. say you are your friend and have lost your season ticket. get a duplicate.

Surely they'd ask for ID?

There are quite a few people whose season tickets i could swipe if not, were i that way inclined, of course!

I've been in this exact situation. I got stuck here in Belgium, and had my 2 tickets with me, and no way of getting them to my son's in time.
I rang the ticket office and explained the situation and they just issued 2 paper tickets for that one game which my son's had to collect.
They just went in and said my dad rang up before and gave my name and got the tickets

If your wallet has gone with all your ID in it and your ticket if you see what I mean

Or if he lost it on the plane over and didn't think of bringing ID over because he didn't think he'd lose his wallet and he obviously can't get home to pick some ID up in time

I live 100mls away and have turned up without my card so long as you know address and DOB etc your OK, they just print a paper copy.
