Tickets for Monday

Just been down and got ours, the road outside gate 11 is hammered, go the back way and in at the squash gate 13.

If they just activate season cards - how do they know how many tickets to sell to lesser mortals?

They are only allowed so many inside the stadium (HSE rules). They, also, have to have a certain number of first aiders (SJAB), stewards, etc. etc. to employ (yes, they have to pay for them).

I agree that the free for all is a daft idea - and maybe should have done a layered system (like they do for all other tickets). Our ticketing department need to learn from these lessons and get things sorted for next time (like when we bring back the CS).

Anyway - I'm hoping that my 'idea' here - <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=220943" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=220943</a> - works out for everyone.

Debating on popping to the ground, or wait til later and go arndale.

Best option?

Do both. Then you'll have some 'spare' to pass on ;)

Someone said they've been to Market Street and that they only had 500 tickets there and they've gone. I was just about to have a 10 minute skive and walk across there, but having read that might just wait til tomorrow.

was a farce of epic proportions last night. all the money in the world and we still couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery

People must have been asking for 4 even though they might not necessarily use them.
I'm unsure what I am going to do, but one thing is for sure I'm sitting in my seat no matter what time I get to the ground ;)

It's unreserved seating. Are you going to throw a strop and kick someone out of your usual seat even if it's full and they've been sat there an hour?! I'm not expecting to be able to get my own seat, let's all be nice to each other and just sit anywhere!

Its a joke really, they should have just sent seasoncard holders one each and let the rest fight for the remains.

We got in one queue last night to be told they had sold out. 2 minutes later we could see them serving people.

I will be fuming if me and my mum don't get one.

So when I got there there are no "Special Units" and an announcement saying there were a limited amount available "after the game" but more would be available tomorrow etc.
Did you not see the massive queues? Those weren't for the bogs. ;-)

AH Stupid Me! When I read "Special Units" I should have known they meant the Ticket Office shouldn't I.

Afraid by the time I finished work and drove 2 Hours to get to the game I didn't have a lot of time to go looking for the tickets!

Sorry but they blew it! I'm happy for those that got a ticket or 6 but it should have been handled better!

You could always add you name here - <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=220943" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=220943</a>

Just got mine from market street, NO WAIT. Go down stairs back of the shop not the till. Limited to two tickets per fan. No details taken so in theory you could go back for more later in the day.

Just got my 4 at the arndale, 2 per card

That makes more sense, for example if someone couldn't make it to the shop. I wasn't asked for my card as I only wanted two.

Got to the ground this morning - isnt there just a great feel good factor being around it at the moment - the place was rammed with cars, queued in the rain and they'd sold out so had to wait 20mins whilst they printed more. Bloke in the portakabin said they were giving them out faster than they could print them.

Get there early on monday boys and girls as it looks like its gonna be more than a full house.

If everyone is being told to get inside the stadium early, who's going to being doing the street side cheering and hanging off lamp posts as the bus goes past??

I was thinking this. I think it's possible to make it to Albert Square and then to the stadium but not sure who'll be on the streets. The route is very strange too like through Picadilly gardens. There could be points where there's nobody there watching/waiting.

THIS!!!!!

Yes but what if 15.000 season ticket holders don't turn up? Stadium looks empty, press, rags have a field day.
The majority should have been available last night and not 4 per person which is ridiculous, I guarantee that the majority took 4 but won't use them.[/quote]
