I think we should just go with the flow. The club aren't saying you have to be in the ground at a certain time so you could probably do both. The reason everyone wants to be in the stadium as it's a big party. The players will be out on the pitch, probably on a stage. They'll probably be music, fireworks have been promised at the end, special guests. Just generally sounds like a big party. I'm sure a lot of people will be going to Albert Square then heading to the stadium. You could potentially go and stand on Ashton New Road and then wander into the stadium after the bus has gone past.

I think that's a good plan. Albert Square is at 6 and the stadium events start at 8 so you could definitely make it walking via Picadilly.
