Massive club

It seems like a policy to distance themselves from the fans so they can charge more / thrust advertisments in your face. I hope I never get to the point where I won't renew, but after straining my eyes to see the game on Monday, trying to block out the flashing banner adverts in my face, I kind of felt this could be the beginning of the end where it's not enjoyable anymore.
I'm starting to feel like I'm on a slippery slope too. It's worrying.
Again I think that's one of the problems, a couple of years ago the club were eager to listen to fans views, and took them on board and made changes. The last questionaire they sent out regarding the food pricing, they basically didn't give you an option to say "The food is too expensive". That's not what they want to hear. Instead they give you a trick question economics study questionaire where they can evaluate the maximum they can possibly charge you for a meat pie.
It's the same with ticket prices. They are not interested in what you can afford as a fan, what fits in to your family budget, based on your earnings and outgoings. Instead, they are interested in what is the absolute maximum you are willing to pay. They are preying on people's loyalty where fans are over-stretching themselves because they don't want to stop going to watch City because it's part of who they are.
I understand the supply and demand aspect, I understand that the club has to be profitable. But there seems to be a rampant commercialism of the club now which could definitely chase traditional fans away. It's short term thinking. They might be maximising profits this year, but I would imagine if it gets much worse there will be a lot of loyal fans who will think twice about coming next season. £56 for a home match with Stoke, it's bordering on insanity.

A few of us wanting to go tomorrow but not paying £65

You never ever ever stop fucking whingeing about something this club are doing, do you? Ever? Blah blah fucking blah, right through this golden era. Post after post, thread after thread, and most of it rooted in profound ignorance and bitterness.
I'd hate to be like you. what a miserable and unfulfilled life you must lead.
Unless it's true that you are a united fan, in which case your incessant whinging is understandable.

well I love going to City more than any time in the last 37 years. I will take the cup finals, title deciders, 6-0s, derby victories and European trips, thanks very much. Every fan in the land dreams of what has happened to us. I spent 30 years dreaming of it. I'm not going to let the best era in the club's history pass me by because I'm a moaner, thanks. I'm smelling the roses along the way.
I've very sympathy for those priced out of football. But I've no sympathy for bottom-lip-out Luddites.
If you didn't enjoy thumping Liverpool on Monday you are a clown.
