winding down in life.
did my head in last night again, don't get me wrong i don't blame the away team "trying it on" because we are some side to contain, what bothers me is no linesman and certainly not the referee even acknowledged it last night, could'nt have done as they only put up 1 min of added time for the first half, their goalie was a disgrace, as many have been over the years at city and it spoils the spectacle. so as the ref ignores it its down to our players to badger the ref, not one of them pulled the ref to say "sort this out", we are going to face this week in week out so come on city yes play the fancy stuff but get tough too, do that and we'll piss this title.

sorry for the moan.

For some stupid reason the Premier League abandoned the multi-ball system, but City seem to have taken it one stage further and got rid of too many ball boys. it's now up to the camera man, players or ref to retrieve the ball. Sort it out City.

To be honest watch us at home there was a corner in the first half(on our right)where the whole team stood and waited for the offical to throw/kick the ball out, easily wasted longer than any of their keepers kicks. Our ballboys seem have been cut to a handful and don't seem to want to move more than a few yards. In the 2nd half(on our left)there was a time when the ballboy just sat there and in the end a Cameraman had to toss Lescott the ball! Considering we are playing one of the weaker sides you would think we would be looking to get the ball in play. As for the multi-ball system, I might be wrong but didn't we change mid-season when Mancini took over away from it?

Helped by the fact we appeared to only have 1 ball in the ground and 2 ballboys.
Tomorrows headline in the MUEN

'FFPR bite as City cut down on ball boys'

This^^ I couldn't quite believe that we only had two ballboys last night

Van De Sar and Tim Howard are the 2 worse keepers for this piss take
needs cutting out by the refs.

It wasn't helped by some clown at the front of CBL2 thinking he could pocket the ball for keeps when a clearance landed up there in the first half. I noticed the stewards had a word a minute or two later.

Ballboys used to sit on little plastic stools in front of the advertising hoardings. Now they are behind it and they are so little that they can't climb over it. Are the electronic newer ones bigger than the old ones? Elf 'n' safety or were they blocking advertising exposure?

Chris Kirkland gets that award IMO. Usually starting from about 2 minutes into the game.

I remember Thierry Henry giving him a mouthful about it once after he'd scored for the Arse as it was just desserts at the time.

quite the opposite rammy, been mad busy:)

The time wasting by goalkeepers is something that both UEFA and the local leagues in each country need to sort out. I suggest that once the goalkeeper places the ball down he has 10 seconds to take the goal kick or free kick otherwise it will result in a booking for the keeper.

Don't know about other leagues but in the Spanish Super Cup they were playing with multi balls. Real Madrid must have had about 10 if not more ballboys dotted around the stadium.

First half the goalie did 7 goal kicks which took approximately 25 to 30 seconds for each one! There should of been 3 minutes minimum

Delap at Stoke takes longer with his throw inns needs sorting public pay good money

Oh no, they've a bloody way to go to beat Schwarzer. Last time he was at CoMS it took him two minutes into the match to waste another three taking a goal kick. They should be booked the second time they take more than what is reasonable. One min at the end of HT and only 3mins at FT was a joke. I reckon Vorm wasted at least five mins on his own account.
