anyone think they timed this announcement so that tomorrows papers won't carry stories about it or at least will be overshadowed by the leaders debate aftermath

I've not read articles about other clubs plans for next season regarding season tickets, so why would anyone want to talk about our plans?

You've got to laugh DD. I personally can never remember our season ticket prices making the front page of the MEN never mind the nationals. In fact i can never remember them making the sports pages of the nationals apart from the odd paragraph every now and then.

Let them laugh coulsonblue. I can tell you it was also cleverly timed to sneak out after all the airports re-opened.coulsonblue said:anyone think they timed this announcement so that tomorrows papers won't carry stories about it or at least will be overshadowed by the leaders debate aftermath

The BBC are more interested in the forced evictions from the North Stand. Apparently the refugees will be setting up a camp in the Gasworks Strip and the club will be building a security fence to deny them access to the catering outlets and the shop. There's every chance the UN could get involved. Cue a load of biased reporting about how the club are acting as bully boys and denying the Northstandians their basic human rights.Didsbury Dave said:Prestwich_Blue said:Let them laugh coulsonblue. It looks like the tactic has failed, unfortunately.
I've just had a call from Jeremy Vine at the BBC. They want to hold a live TV debate, The Cabal v The Flat Earth Society, on Friday at 8pm.
Obiously the topic for discussion is the 6% season ticket price increase.
