Timo Werner

Get what your saying but keeping the sane two and not freshening up is not a wise move. Say kun and Jesus start to miss a lot of chances they know there is no one here to push them and they are guaranteed starting places . We need a third striker to keep them on there toes .

the thing is i would agree with you if its was any other manager than pep. aguero is the only striker we have at the club really and jesus is learning the pep system of playing in the line of 3 with wide players and a false number 9 if you like. so if was can get sane to stay then you would have jesus sterling sane and if you wanted to change it then aguero in the old slot as striker

if the right players come on the market then yes city should be all over them and dare i say mbappe comes on the market then we must sell our souls to buy him because he would be the final piece in the jigsaw for pep and what a front line and KDB and phil foden

Your right about mbappe best striker n the world by a mile

2 very good players them.

Makes Chelsea a much better side and more of a threat imo.

the premier league is the hardest league in the world and its because of the 6 teams at the top fighting each other
any one of them can spend big in a summer transfer window and mount a challenge to city or liverpool and it should be welcomed by both clubs

the more clubs in the fight for the title the better it becomes ? and if you get 4 teams fighting for the title then it opens up and you a better challenge and in the race and run in you have to be on your game because one slip up and you could end up 4th from being top. man city will only get better from a challenge from others and not just liverpool every season

manchester city can never stand still and a fight for titles will makes us a better club in the long run and also in europe and not just in england. lucky that we still have a young ish squad and after most of the hardcore players have gone. it will only leave aguero & fernandinho when silva leaves this season ? so if pep stays on and wants to build another team to take them on we will have a base of good young players to build on

Apparently Liverpool are going after there second choice, Laturo Martinez..... So they didn't put the money down for £50mill werner but they are buying a player twice the price.

and hes agreed to join Barca anyway

Can u smarter people tell me how is it possible for this:

Timo Werner 'will abandon RB Leipzig's bid for Champions League glory this season' in order to join Chelsea next month - despite Germans cruising through to quarter-finals
  • Chelsea agreed a five-year contract with Timo Werner after meeting his clause
  • The Germany striker will reportedly complete his move to London this week
  • Werner has chosen not to play in the Champions League for Leipzig in August
  • The Blues swooped in after Liverpool refused to pay £53m for his signature
  • Manager Frank Lampard also wants Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell this summer
When the transfer window is not even open?
