Apparently 4 medals will be awarded to our players at HT on Saturday as the rules have been updated to include players who played fewer games.

And rightly so.
Was just listening to Stan Horne on the Blue Moon podcast. Fascinating listen, would’ve been good to have a longer form conversation with him about what it was like playing in those days.

Just to put some meat on the bones as well as Horne & Bobby Kennedy the families of Paul Hince & Harry Dowd will be there to accept medals too.

Way to late in my opinion
Stan Horne will become the first black player to be awarded a league title medal too. Bit more background to the story here:

Stan's looking well in that interview. About time the EFL got this sorted, all those players contributed - especially Dowd who kept 3 clean sheets and Hince who scored 2 goals. A pity for Stan Bowles who made 4 appearances (2 goals) but just misses out.
