No offence but tough.
Please stop posting threads about how hard done to you are. Did you queue up at 7am like some did? Have you been there all weekend trying to get a ticket? Why are you not a season ticket holder if you a massive fan?
This is City you should be used to them cocking things up the rest of us are. I remember one of my first games ever 3 - 0 v Bournmouth at half time going up, happy days, 3 -3.
Be thankful that they have at least tried to acknowledge the fans and have lowered the ticket prices. If you dont have a ticket watch it on TV. If you dont want to come back ever then dont bother, I ll keep coming back despite City breaking my heart on more than one occasion.

For the record I am going as I am season ticket holder.

I agree its tough but I'm going to be kind.

Here's a guide for the self-styled "loyal supporters" without tickets who wants to go:

1) Ring MCFC Ticket Office directly on a regular basis for the next week. There will be some returned tickets.

2) Put the odd thread up on Bluemoon and the other City forums saying you need a ticket.

3) Ask around people you know for spares.

I guarantee you that the above will turn you up a ticket within a couple of days.

Absolute worst case scenario, if you don't do the above. Turn up and hour before kickoff and stand at one of the busy walks up to the stadium saying regularly "Any spare Tickets". I reckon you'll get one within 10 minutes at face value.

But as you lot are such loyal supproters you will know this, right?

If needs be go to Shambles square (That is not a dig a City) in the afternoon. A lot of blues going there and they will no doubt be some going. If that is too far to go just think I am going to the away leg at the moment without a ticket

I didnt get one but cant moan as i knew if id got down at 7am id have grabbed one this morning. Had a job interview at 9 so that wasnt an option.

Have posted in the ticket section on here, have asked all my mates who will keep their ears open and if all else fails will just get one off a tout on the day of the game,if that doesnt work ill watch it on one of the pubs near the ground...not ideal but still a decent night out!

One thing though for the OP....the "if you were a massive fan youd have a season ticket" shit makes my blood boil.....17 years as a season ticket before loosing my job last summer and not being able to afford one.

This is well out of order and comes across as pretty self satisfied, imo. Making snide comments on committed fans who missed out on tickets is crass (btw, I've got my 4, but I sympathise with those blues who missed out, often with very good reason for complaint). It's been well documented that sales this time have been poorly organised; I can see why the club did what they did, and I'm sure they'll learn from this. But to tell people they should get season tickets if they are "massive" fans is a poor do; not everyone can afford one, for a start.

its hardly a shambles. cheap tickets, the ground is sold out, the atmosphere will be great and hopefully so will the game. 9/10

its a minority who didn't get tickets and tried hard but thats unlucky however bitching and whining won't do anything about it.

Being a season ticket holder doesn't make you more loyal than me. It just means you were able to buy something i badly wanted but couldn't afford.

I haven't got my Hamburg ticket because they've sold out. I'll be quicker next time. Gutted but not going to moan about it.

Just shows how fans are fickle there have been between 26000-22000 at all home UEFA matches. I have been to all except The match at Oakwell and PSG at home and yes managed to get a Hamburg ticket online cos I guessed this would happen.

If Hamburg had have been same prices as Aalborg £25 this wouldn't have happened there would still be 20000 tickets going now we would have given Hamburg the 6000 tickets they asked for. The club cant do right for doing wrong they decided to treat the fans and it backfired or did it?? a sell out just what they wanted.

Got mine on Cup Direct, but not here to go on about that.

My brother lives in Chicago and is over in UK on the date of the match, so I said I will try for ticket.
Didnt bother the first date due to didnt think problem, so ended up like a lot on here waiting for today. So 9am on 2 phones then whilst in Manchester thought I would try the Citysore. Got there at 9.10am to be met with about 20 people in the queue. Got my Bro a ticket and was away for 9.30am
Shop manager said that there was only 3000 availible for sale today, so most S/T holders had took up tickets.

I do believe though that alot of people have bought to many tickets and there will be alot for sale outside on the night.

Good luck to those who come without.

also got mine on the direct cup scheme. So easy and my seat is guaranteed. One mistake the club made was not rewarding the loyalty of those fans who went to the Uefa games earlier and selling them to just about anyone.

been to all the other games, and as you know been a massive fan, we have only got 7000 at barnsley and all games at eastlands have been under 28000. i wanted to go,but didnt get a ticket and am working in doncaster and live in donny so i couldnt get over. i watch on tv with a can or two. i be ready for the next match good and proper. mind if tickets go up to £20 i dont think there will be a rush. and ive got my mates season tickets for final, so hope to go there.
