Please do not let this man slip through our fingers. Yes i understand that its just 1 game, i understand that it is only half time, but please understand this.

Mancini has made a team gel in double quick fashion.
Mancini has the fans believing.
Mancini has the players believing.
Mancini is working with a squad he did not pick.
Mancini has had us play some very attractive football in each game we've played.
Mancini has sorted out our (former) leaky defence.

Basically Mancini has worked miracles in his short time at City. Please, and if you want me to beg i will quite happily do so, but please keep Roberto as our manager. I've never been happier or prouder to be a Blue than right now.

Thanks Ricster

Hear hear, Mancini is good enough for us, we've got one of the best already, why start all over with a stroppy guy who might walk away when the going gets tough

Quite possibly the best manager we have had in my time as a City fan. This kind of result has been coming.

Absolutely agree, just imagine what he could do ith a couple of his own signings.

Really hope he sticks around for a long time.

Agree, he needs to be given the funds to bring in the players he needs.

Also, another thing i'd like to highlight is the fact he dropped De Jong. Has the penny dropped that his work rate isn't enough for where we are going. A great battler in the middle, but really offers nothing else. Vieira and Barry complimented each other well today, and another tactical masterstroke from our very own......... Special One!

Good post Ricster, Mancini is the man to take the club forward for years to come. He's not an egotistical fly by night mercenary, this man is a proven winner, a tactical expert and will if given the chance build a formidable dynasty at city. He needs to be given the chance.

I'd like to see what Mancini can do given the funds to bring in a center mid duo. I like the way he lines up his teams and the games we have been shit have been because of our limitations with the center mid pairing.

If he's a good manager, we'll finish 4th....

And I don't agree with the attractive football part!

I cant think of one game where we haven't had a period of the match and played attractively. Even the loss to Everton the first half hour we played very well.

Forza Mancio

He's a class act in all he does, an honest man with alot of integrity, he's a credit to City, and on football matters, he's sorted out an over priced joke of a defence without spending a penny on it.

I find it hard to believe there are still people who harbour doubts about a manager who has won 30 points from his first 15 league games... having taken over someone else's players mid-season.

I have to believe there is much more to come from someone still finding his feet in a foreign country. Why would you not keep him, let things settle down, give him time to shape the squad and implement his methods?

The question may be, can we keep him? the grand old lady, one of the established giants of europe & the club he supported as a youngster, maybe calling. I suppose if he went there, rebuilt their shattered reputation and won more championships, there would still be people who would doubt his ability to manage 'over here'.

one more stat to wind up the mourinho-obsessives.... in his three years at chelsea, their biggest win in the premier league was 4-0.

So I take it Chelsea got stripped of the first two top flight titles that they won in fifty years because they never beat anyone by more than 4-0? Didn't think so. So now we no longer want to just employ a manager who will win us the Premiership, but he has to win 5-0 to boot? Coming from a supporter of a team that's won bugger all for thirty odd years, that seems a little bit weird to me. If that's the best you can do to put Mourinho down, then I'd give up if I were you.

Totally agree, he's done a great job with players he may not be totally comfortable with, and with some players who aren't comfortable with him. His 2 signings today sounded like they were very good too.

Time we ALL just got behind him, forget the past manager, ignore the future speculation, and focus on 6 games left as ONE club.

Great post. Manchini must not be allowed to leave. Fuck mourinho, we have a brighter future under Manchini, he has worked wonders with what players didn't achieve under MH. Imagine what he can do with his own signings, and you can call Johnson as a "signing", then i think the futures bright under Manchini.
