Anyone read todays piece in the Daily Mail by Martin Samuel? A brilliant piece on this whole crazy Kaka saga, talks a lot of sense and reminds us all why we all fell in love with football in the first place. (and why those fans/media tw**s who are slagging us off are just bitter and miserable)
 
No, haven't seen it, mate. Nobody's posted it or even mentioned it. At all. It's like it never existed.

Basically Mr Samuel was praising City for trying to pull this deal off...saying that the magic had gone out of football i.e. finishing 15th is better than a cup run etc....and that fans are now blase about kaka type players as we see them on TV all the time whereas in the past you had to go to the ground to see them. This is a one off deal and will have no effect on the rest of football etc...
Started off with this: 'football is supposed to be about fun, it is meant to entertain, meant to brighten your day....'
Exactly.....i feel like a kid at christmas....Its MAD...like when you have an affair with a hot chick - you know its wrong - but its fu**ing AMAZING at the same time!
