Todays Pitch Invasion. City v Swansea

I am seriously concerned about this, this has the potential to cause major issues for the club and I really hope there is a serious plan in place to stop any invasion.

Cast you mind back to the Wigan cup game and the incident with Aguero, in any large group of people you will always get some knob heads and I have no doubt that if some of our fans were on the pitch at the same time as the Rag players then there will be the possibility of an altercation. All it needs is one prick to do something stupid.

There should be something in place where if we are in the last minute and about to win the title that the ball is put out of play near the tunnel and all the players gather there and the ref blows up to ensure the players are off the pitch quickly.

Really wish people would stop going on out about this scenario.
Yes it would be good win it against them but any slip in the next 2 or even in the derby then it won't happen. Personally I don't give a fuck so long as we win it.
And grown men invading the pitch is pathetic and were better than that.

What really is pathetic is you judging grown men for something you obviously feel no passion for.

No not at all.
Ive done pitch invasions at Lords with Lancashire. I get it, just feel that we did it in 2012 and 2014. Why do it again when it has potential to create a full scale riot and tarnish our celebration?

With my sensible middle aged head on i absolutely take on board the argument that all it takes is one knobhead fronting up to a rag player to cause the club a serious problem with potentially far reaching implications and i also wholly agree with those who say that a pitch invasion will probably preclude any on pitch post match celebrations from the squad .

But can you imagine the feeling when that final whistle goes and we’ve clinched the title and humiliated those scumbags in the process you’ll just wanna run as fast as you can with unbridled joy like a little kid. It will be hard to think rationally at that moment.

Hi all,

I'm a long time city fan from the states. I really want to be there for the Parade once the league is over in May. Does anyone have an idea of which day (most likely) the parade will happen? Or i guess a relative date range? Or will it even happen if we're still in the champions league come May?

Thanks Mates!

As far as I can remember none of our title/promotion pitch invasions have involved ugly scenes. On the contrary they have been a wonderful part of the winning experience and I would hope that this would be no difference in that regard.

So, lets celebrate, some (not all!) run on the pitch, give the Rags a bit of stick and go home with happy memories.

of course there were no ugly scenes after qpr half of their players wanted to celebrate us winning it seemingly. west ham were also expecting to see us win the trophy and were fine. but i think the vermin players would not be so happy for us. just one city fan attacking a scumbie and i think the club could be in real trouble. stay off the pitch for this one if it even happens that we win it that day.

Tough one for the coppers this. I’m positive there would be a pitch invasion if we do win it that day (or any other). But if they let the scum go on the final whistle there will be many, many blues outside that don’t have tickets. Blues that will either try to sneak in when the exits open or just hang around afterwards to celebrate.

back to pitch invasions, it’s not for me, but people will definitely do it.

After the west ham game, the doors to get in/out were open - I walked round from my seat to my dad's seat after the pitch invasion but before the presentation so I saw them.
I didn't see anyone leaving and wouldn't have thought anyone would have wanted to go early but seeing as some did after Wembley 2 weeks ago maybe they did!
