Glad they cleared up that the father was driving and the boy was a passenger. Wouldnt have known otherwise.

Something dodgy about this one.... like Beckham claiming to be being chased by the paparazzi when caught speeding, yet the speeding camera didn't take a subsequent picture of a car also speeding behind Beckham.....
Maybe when the boy is fit enough and the police speak to him a different story will emerge.
 
How can you run a story like this and not follow up with interviewing politicians who continue to ignore the problem?

On the subject of Texas:

In Texas it is against the law to either possess or promote the use of more than 6 dildo's, but you can have as many guns as you like. Ironic really given that the are both essentially substitutes for the same thing.

There is however an exception that allows multiple 'devices' if they are used for medical or Law Enforcement purposes..

A 9-year-old boy is in critical condition after accidentally being shot in the chest by his father at the end of an alleged road rage incident they were engaged in.

The incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday, June 11, in Houston’s Fifth Ward in the eastern part of the city when the father, who was driving the vehicle with the 9-year-old boy inside at the time, reportedly believed he was being followed by another car and pulled out a gun,

'They were engaged in'? Unless he was holding the gun or driving the car I can't see how the 9 year was engaged in anything.

And who pulls a gun (let alone carries it) because there's a car behind them? Definitely weirdness afoot.

Is at least part of your post humorous or is all of that fact? I'm honestly not sure with how crazy Americans seem to be.

It's actually true. Some bizarre law from the 1970's that is still extant.

There is actually a Texas pressure group called "Cock's - not Glock's" which is fighting against it.
