Better to buy him now, even loan him out - beyond his cringy hipster appearance, he’s a very good homegrown footballer who’s got more about him than Maddison and Grealish.

If he succeeds elsewhere, we either miss out or pay three times the price within 18 months.

Send him to Leeds for a season, and either bring him back or sell him for a profit next year; if it doesn’t work out, stick him in the women’s team.
