What a race that was. Controlled it from the outset. The Frenchman put a scare at the end of the first bike lap of the last leg but Yee responded magnificently. Congratulations to all of them for winning the 1st ever mixed triathlon Olympic gold medal.

Think it's a stretch to hope Asher-Smith can get gold. Fraser-Pryce is another beast. Podium definitely achievable.

Even after Kathleen Dawson slipped on the wall on take-off but she recovered really well.

Adam Peaty is phenomenal. James Guy was too and so was Anna Hopkin.

Brilliant swim. Based on the medals won and even more medals available, they've certainly made their case for even more funding.

They get £7m less than rowing, that's not right based on the performances.
