Tokyo 2020 Olympics/Paralympics

Enjoying the games but how dumbed down and poor are the bbc presenters. They weren't good to start with, but clearly the editorial line is to aim for a cross between Hollyoaks and Long lost Family. Overly sentimental and back story reliant guff.
In other news; women have babies and live a perfectly normal life, shock!
Thankfully the experts, have, on the whole, been excellent, and truly shown the presenters up.

Just catching up , that brit weightlifter is like looking in the mirror lol
I won't be arguing with you again then.

Did you see the Chinese one with her coach. Thought she was going to lift him over her head at the end.

The aim is obviously to inspire the next generations and to be fair a lot of the Olympic sports are shite so that added backstory or context can make something dull a little more watchable.

It's a real mixed bag on the presenting. JJ Chalmers was okay. Let the experts lead and asked decent questions. Gabby Logan, Hazel Irvine and Clare Balding need to be binned off now. There are plenty of former Olympians who could do the presenting gig and not only be more knowledgeable but be far less painful to watch and listen to.

Certainly missing the Brailsford "magic".

Plenty of medals available tomorrow, hopefully at least a couple of golds; sailing, boxing, cycling, gymnastics, diving, athletics, canoe sprint. Probably our best chances in that order.

Looking forward to seeing the Sport Climbing which starts tomorrow as well.

Really pleased for our equestrian team. It's probably one of the few sports where men and women compete on an equal footing.
And gold medal!!!!
It's a bloody hard sport that

If true, it's quite remarkable as they've done exactly the same as the rowing team...
