Tommy Doyle | Signs for Wolves | will be confirmed Jul 1st

Still no firm news on Doyle being loaned anywhere in this window. Rather strange, because that was another round of games played yesterday, so another opportunity for playing time lost. Let’s hope he finds somewhere this week.

Tommy Doyle has made an immediate impact with his loan move to the Buffalo Bills, got a TD last night :)

Still looks like Cardiff but there's plenty of time yet.
Wouldn’t be too sure about Cardiff City.

‘Cardiff City are not currently interested in signing Manchester City youngster Tommy Doyle, WalesOnline has been told.
The Daily Mail reported on Thursday that Cardiff had joined a host of Championship clubs to take the 20-year-old on loan at the back end of the season.
However, given City have seven central midfielders, they do not see that area as a priority position in which to recruit this month.
Steve Morison said on Thursday he saw Tom Sang as a central midfielder, meaning that he joins Joe Ralls, Will Vaulks, Marlon Pack, Leandro Bacuna and Sam Bowen jostling for game time in the middle of the park.
There is no realistic way Cardiff could give assurances to Manchester City over game time with that sort of congestion in the squad.
Areas in which they believe they need bolstering are at left back and on the wing, with pace a sought-after asset.’

If his previous manager is badmouthing his attitude in the press, might be a bit of a difficult one tbh. Hopefully not.

That’s history and irrelevant now.

The bit in the post above yours is probably far more relevant.

Wherever he lands we’ll presumably have asked for assurances that he actually plays.

Would be relevant to me if I was a manager considering getting him. Think he’ll end up in league one tbh.

Well this post ended badly :p

Doyle starts today as Cardiff City travel to Bristol City. Game starts at 12:30 in the U.K.

This was in Wales Online.

”Morison says there's no clause or agreement guaranteeing the Man City loanee game time, and he will have to prove he deserves a place in Morison's starting line-up.

"No. Often we have three in there and no-one has got an automatic right to play, not even Tommy," Morison said.

"There is nothing (in his contract) saying he has to play games of football - before people start thinking that.

"He has got to come in and earn his place on the training ground to start off with and he's got to perform, along with everyone else, and we will pick the best three.”

Great that Tommy has made the starting line up - feels a bit wrong to be rooting for Cardiff as they are a team I dislike due to their arsehole fans but for Tommy's sake I will try to put that to one side.
