Tommy Muir RIP : minutes applause on 71 mins

There was a feature on Granada Reports tonight about the recent death of an old lady who had worked as a receptionist at United since 1968.

I'm sure she was a lovely person and it's sad when anybody dies.
However I'm assuming that as a United employee she was receiving a wage whereas Tommy was a willing selfless volunteer organising coaches for decades.

Judging from the number of responses to his daughter's Facebook post it would appear that his funeral will be attended by hundreds so hopefully our media department (if we actually have one anymore) will ensure that he gets some kind of TV recognition

Ill be at cheadle con club from 5.30 onwards for his funeral.
A few of us are having a pre pint in the george for old times sake. Our local from being 18 until tommy left all those years later

The pub went totally down the shitter when he left to the point there was a murder in it. He made that pub
