Why does mine say bad signal? Do I need a aerial?

It says bad frequency though as well don't no what's wrong with it

err, presuming you're being serious then yes you need an aerial.

I go to btsport.com click "Watch Now" and it just shows a webpage with a blank image where the tv picture should be.

I'd watch it on Freeview but don't have access to an aerial right now.

Don't think you can watch via the PC without signing up to a new 12 month contract(presuming you're already with them).
