Tonight's game (Southampton v Everton)

Hard to think, looking at that, that Everton are pushing for a top 4 spot. Poor game really. And I don't envy Puncheon at their next away game. The shit really will be flying.

You are right they are not quite good enough for a top 4 place. I will be disappointed if we don't improve our record at Goodison.

Shaw looks like he is going to be a cracking player.

Similar to Clichy minus the pace although he seems quick as well. Not the dead ball specialist Kolarov is but would rather have Shaw as backup.

Puncheon certainly put one or two floaters in.

The lad has a good motion, can drive defenders round the bend. Needs to push hard though, this kind of form can slide down the pan if you dont concentrate.

He can certainly play in Southampton's Cistern.

Good result for southampton,a defeat for the new manager and the shit would of hit the fan...
Certainly a good result, great football and clean sheet, hopefully the new manager inspire them to win @ the toilet

Southampton have a very good young fullbacks ( Clyne & Shaw), and I am sure they will move to bigger clubs sooner or later.

I watched this game and thought that both teams were where we were a few seasons ago under various managers
Southampton battered Everton and should have been out of sight at half time
Everton rode their luck and in the second half nulified Southampton without really threatening themselves

I just thought about how far we've come as a club and how thankful I am
