Not surprised Mancini rested most of the players tonight, the pitch was in a shocking state. Hopefully Yaya is ok. Thought SWP was pretty decent and Guidetti worked hard. Like the look of Clichy, at last we finally have a decent left back. Thought everyone else worked hard to get some fitness in. However no surprise to see Balotelli not into it, had a nightmare with his control but then again that could've been the pitch.

The pitch and the cuntish behavior of some Vancouver players. There's a reason that fellow got a card.

The real problem I felt was that our midfield had no drive forward in the first half with the exception of Weiss. Highlights the need for a Sneijder or Nasri or someone to back up and complement Silva.

SWP seems to regained the fire in his belly. He's clearly fighting for his place. Scored a couple of crackers too. I think he deserves his chance this season.

Who is this 'Guidetti' fella? Surely you mean 'Gidett'?

I wonder if it was misspelled on the announcer's sheet.

Silent "i"...pretty sure the announcer is an idiot, pronounced Kolarov's name wrong as well. On another note, I wouldn't take too much from this game with regards to individual performances...the pitch conditions made touch passing and quick movement irrelevant. I remember on several occations Balotelli tried to get up to speed with the ball and it would hit a divot, then his shin, then straight to the other team.

If so, then they had the same announcer's sheet at the last game, cos they were pronouncing it that way as well!
My commentary was in Spanish for that one.

I think SWP has earned a chance to play. MOTM

Savic did alright, I can see why Mancio bought him. Clichy is a revelation, we finally have someone there who can put pressure on the opposition.

Guidetti has a nose for goal, more than I can say for Dzeko right now. Weiss did okay.

It was entertaining.

dont know if anybody else saw this but i noticed that when joe hart had a goal kick he passed it to one of our defenders instead of booting it up the field, the reason im bring this up is im not quite sure why we bought dzeko if we arn't going to use his ariel abilty by aiming for him with goal kicks and not crossing it
