Where has all this Boyata bashing come from? I thought he was fine. Perhaps I was not concentrating too hard.

I'm not sure it's bashing, he's just lost out there. Was fine in the center, but as a fullback he seems consistently a step slow and late, and he's grabbing and stabbing far too much to be effective. They picked on him the entire 1st half, and almost all of the crossing action came from his wing, not to mention he couldn't stop their winger from cutting inside at the top of the 18, they basically had the run of his quadrant of the field. Some of that is surely on Johnson/Weiss, as well, who were going forward, but Boyata just hasn't looked up to it as a full back, which isn't anything against the kid, just lessens the options of playing him, imo.
