Tony’s Chippy has now shut to be replaced by Mr Macs who has a Chippy on Lightbowne road.
Going to miss the Fish from there

We have chippy delivered to work from Mr Macs every week and they are bloody good!!!

As an exile Tony's was the place to get pre-match cuisine experience
1) great fish, crispy batter, not too thick and stodgy, always fresh and hot
2) fast service, never waiting long even when the queue looked long
3) that East Manchester smile like a Victorian graveyard from the serving ladies
