It is noticeable that City are treated like shit by the FA, the press and match officials. This has been the case for as long as I can remember. For too long now, the management and officials of the club have remained silent and impassive in the face of bad treatment. The latest episode with Adebeyor is a point in fact. Can you imagine the outrage that you would get from United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc if the same injustice happened to them? Baconface would have been publicly humiliating the referee from the moment Adebeyor was sent off. What we have from City is silence. Mancini's poor English doesn't help, but you would think that someone, somewhere associated with the Club would have unleashed. I appreciate that this may have resulted in a longer ban/fine etc, but if officials and others who have it in for us know that all hell will break loose if they give blatantly wrong decisions, or with the press, they get banned, sued or both for over negative comments, I think that over the long term, things would change. Belligerence works for Utd and others, so why not us?
Last season, Terry had a sending off reduced to a booking (against us), why? - because they kicked off at what they saw as an injustice (in fact, it was a definate red). We need to toughen up and stop being so gentlemanly about the way we're treated. Unless we stop being such pussies, we'll continue to be treated like shit.
