I had a back tooth out on Wednesday, it had had a cap/crown in it for about 30 years but it fell out, had it put back in and it fell out again, so after some xrays they said the tooth has decay and needs to come out, but because it had been ground down there wasnt much visible tooth, anyway it took the girl about an hour to remove it.
Now Im left with a big crater and have had all these warnings about the 'blood clot'
apparently the bone is covered by the clot after extraction which if I disturb it I will have 'dry socket' which can be extremely painful for 7 to 10 days, as the bare bone will be showing, so Im on a kind of liquid diet, soup, yoghurt, mashed potatoes etc no chewing and no hot drinks.
Being very careful not to disturb the 'clot' (I hate the fucking clot !)

Fucking thing keeps aching like fuck...Im told its about a week or 10 days before the clot is safe.
Teeth are a fucking ball ache. I never knew about dry socket ffs, I really miss my tea and coffee.
Has any one else here had teeth issues ?

My teeth are a nightmare. Had loads out as I've got multiple fractures in most of my teeth, they don't need taking out through decay they just snap.
Had what you have suffered with once. It was actually more painful than the tooth ache before extraction.
If it get's really bad, or still painful after 4-5 days, go back to the dentist and they will pack it properly until it heals. I didn't and was in agony for 2 weeks.

No need for that kind of language Nimmers mate. You’re better than that.

P.S my teeth are alright and I’m in Jamaica eating whatever I want.

I had a tooth out about 5 years ago. Whist the dentist kneeling on my chest, tugging at my molar it fractured and splintered into several pieces. He spent about 30 minutes digging around in the hole trying to get the last piece out which he eventually did; otherwise it would have meant surgery.

It took around 4 months for the hole to seal up properly.

Tooth ache is the worst pain I have ever experienced. I had a tiny hole on a front tooth once which sent sent referred pain to a molar. Dentist thought I had an abscess and promptly sliced into my my gum without anathstetic.
