Top 4 Race 2020/21

Annoyingly Liverpool's remaining fixtures all look winnable and I feel like they're hitting some kind of form. Everton continue to be inconsistent, West ham have more difficult fixtures, chelsea who knows, and spurs are all over the place.

Ugh.

Whilst I'd like West ham to get it, from our perspective the dream scenario is we've sewn the league up and on the last game of the season we play the literal eds side, take a spanking off Everton who get the points needed to push ahead of Liverpool and secure that 4th spot. The outrage would be legendary.

In reality though I can't see past Liverpool getting 4th sadly.
PiGMOL will do their best to make that happen

PiGMOL will do their best to make that happen

Sadly @jamesha you are absolutely right because the PL will be influencing their PiGMOL lackies in order to boost their income from television rights etc.

Exactly the same way that the rags have been given assistance last season and again this season.

It is a fucking disgrace and a scandal but money and corruption are familiar bed partners and the PL is as guilty as every other corrupt orgainisation .

On merit both clubs are mid-table this year .

think top 3 are sorted although positions can change with good/bad run of form.

be great to see west ham nick the 4th spot
2nd, certainly. Utd, unfortunately, won't fall out of the top 4 at this late stage. Hard to say about Leicester. If Chelsea win at Palace on saturday, and Leicester lose at West Ham the following day, there's only 2 points between them.

be confident you are playing well and deserve 4 th at moment league doesn't lie

It's remarkably open, and strange things are still happening (and have been happening right through the season. Covid? Absence of crowds? Who knows). Personally, I don't remember when I last saw a team in the top four this late in the season get absolutely smashed at home by another team struggling against relegation, and almost relegated already. Everyone's flaky. Even United, who have been favoured by the usual ridiculous decisions. The Irons could do it. They just could do it. Liverpool are building up an ominous head of steam, although that abject performance by Arsenal doesn't tell you as much as it appears to. Contrary to what people are saying, I don't think their run-in is that easy. We'll see.

Spurs and West Ham win today it gets very interesting, could we see Leicester missing out after being in a strong position all year? They need to get some points in the bag next few games as those final 3 fixtures look tricky.
