With Pep coming in i think it's imperative we are in the Champion's League next season. Reaching the final and losing might make for a bit of a buzz in the run up and a nice day out, but it will all be forgotten come the start of next season. Also, if we were losing finalists having gotten there via beating Wolfsburg in the semis, I doubt anyone will be giving us much credit for it anyway. If we were to reach the semis and go out to someone like Barca but still finish fourth, that will serve us much better going forward than to be losing finalists and finish fifth. It would still represent a massive improvement for us in european competition and also give us another bash at it next year.

A Champions League Final. Just imagine. Imagine the build up, the buzz, the nerves. I'd much rather experience that than win the 4th place trophy.

If Liverpool win the Europa then 4th place won't get us into CL

Yes it will. We're allowed up to a maximum of five places under the new rules. There would only have been an issue if an english team won Europa and Chelsea won the champs league.

While getting to the final would be great...
I think our chances of winning against, say, Barca or Bayern arent' great.
So for me... Top 4.

W'eve got a pretty good chance against PSG with 2 away goals... IMO we're likely to advance to the final 4.
If we're extremely lucky, Real will lose to Wolfsurg, and well draw the German side after beating PSG.
Still, if we beat Wolfsburg in the quarters, that would mean we're up against Bayern or Barca in the final. Against either of those sides, I don't fancy our chances.

KDB is back. And so is Nasri. Things are looking much better for a top 4 finish in the EPL.

+1My guess is we'll be runners up in the CL and the Premier League. In fact the only game I see us losing now is the CL Final. Just a hunch, so don't slaughter me, but it's a strong gut feeling.

For me, I think we'll struggle to secure top 4, but will succeed with KDB and Nasri back.
As for the UCL - tough call. Slight favorites to advance against PSG with our 2 away goals... but favorites to advance to the finals if we draw Wolfsburg next.
