Top Gear is back

Grand Tour is more entertaining and that's saying something.
(Okay, so the second series isn't as bad, plus they got rid of "The American" and "Celebrity Brain Crash".)

TG had run it's course, by the turn of the decade. I barely watched it in the last few series of Clarksonmayhammond.

I refuse to watch even a nanosecond of anything featuring that ginger twunt Evans

As for that dullard from Friends, I've owned kettles with more charisma

Not a fan then?
Don't get me wrong, I used to like it, back in the day. Sunday night ritual. Warrington town centre til 11 for a few scoops, then back home with a large doner kebab and watch the Sky+. It got to about 2010, and it was just TOO formulaic. You could almost set your watch by it. The last few series were that dull, I just never got round to seeing recorded episodes on the Sky box. Have I Got News for You went the same way. I've binned that.
The Pantomime that was Clarkson's sacking, was just that, a Pantomime.
I watched the first 3 episodes of The Grand Tour's first series, not seen a second of it since.

I've not seen a second of "new" TG, for my original reasons.
If people still watch it, good for them.
For me, it's been done to death.

Evans wasn’t in the last series, nor this one.

Le blanc is far better without Evans.

Still a bit forced, but they’re getting some level of decent rapport going

Le Blanc is OK, but the other two jar with each other, and with le Blanc. The dialogue feels forced, the jokes telegraphed, and I feel it's trying too hard to replicate the old trio. I can't help but think a wholesale change of format would've been better.

That said, I thought Ross Noble was good last week, if available he'd fit nicely into it for the humour aspect, and the little balding racing driver can continue as the buffoon.

The problem is Old Top Gear featured 3 "characters"..............all they are doing is trying to ape the original with 3 cardboard cut outs of the old show plus upping the car porn so its 3 guys driving round in cars that sell a combined 20 units every year in the UK. The original was more slapstick now its just a car show - and daft as it sounds that isn't what Top Gear was.
