Too many layers - need a lean, mean, executive machine...

No wonder transfers are taking forever with agents and clubs involved in the mix.
 
No we are not, this the leanest we have been since I can remember. Only Garry Cook does the transfer negoiations from Marks list, Aldridge the day to running to improve the services around the club and Pearce the go between for Khaldoon Al Mubarak needed because City are only one of the business interest he runs for his boss.
 
Ok, fair points. I'd been thinking of our own club structure, where it seems like the manager has to deal not only with the playing staff, but negotiate with a rather heavy-looking executive team to get his transfer business moving.

I'm always happy to be shown otherwise.
