ALL NEXT SEASON...I think that is being realistic and that is what I'm hoping for. The club for me should not be buying "superstars" left right and centre, take the KAKA deal, i was uneasy with that as in he would take sometime to get use to the EPL ( i can hear the £100m waste of money rag songs). I say good solid buys and the next SWP's and Stevies of the world to bring the club forward. Blackburn have never been taken seriously winning the PL, it was bought same with Chelsea<<<first time.... Build a solid team and build respect and conquer in time... because if it happens overnight the press and TV and other fans will look to second spot as we don't count due to money and CITY count always have and always will...Hope you see my point, and Sparky( yes I said it) has to get one more season and hopefully more.... Rome (united) was not built in a day................... will be fun knocking it down slowly.

tottally agree the owners are thinking big and won,t stop until we get to the top you can see by all the land they are buying up and the meetings they are having with top teams they want success and they want it quick brace yourself for a summer of big name money bids and the press and everyone else in the world slagging us off

the press will be slagging off years ....... They'll only stop once we've been at the top or in and around for a good few years

Ted you are a loon we should be aiming for a UEFA cup place at least.
