Totally agree the tories aren't beating (fuck it, trouncing) labour we (labour) are trouncing ourselves. Even sensible conservative supporters seem to pity us and bemoan the lack and necessity of a functional opposition. This is true, up to a point. However, it would be repeated, maybe not so comprehensively, in other wards
for the simple fact that the Tories can savage Labour with ease, by merely pointing out Corbyn's views and policies.
He is a CND member, or at least a supporter, this organisation has been ridiculed and largely forgotten about for decades, no one, or at least
very few, believes in unilateral disarmament, it's a crackpots stance to take, yet he persists with it.
The rest of his policies are equally unworkable, or ill thought out re hashes of the same far left nonsense that resulted in
Michael Foot, (an infinitely higher intellect than Jezza), being ousted and replaced.
He has no problem with untrammelled immigration, to adopt this stance, after what has transpired is, quite simply,
ludicrous; so although Copeland may be unrepresentative in some way, Jezza himself is the big,big problem.
We are a rudderless vessel being swept along by a current of unpopular policies increasingly towards a niagran oblivion but the luvvies who have hijacked labour seem either blind to it or as others have said happy with their position (that position being one of a movement of protest)
