Torres

It will be intresting to see how Rafa can get the best out of Torres, but regarding him as a transfer target it is best to avoid him.

Im sure there is a post-it-note on Mancini's monitor saying "DO NOT BUY TORRES"

Seriously why are people considering this? He is not worth 20m I dont think right now. Show some form and consider it, MAYBE, at the very best... but id rather see the money put where the team can benefit more.... Torres? nope.

He's lost at least a yard of pace which was vital to the way he plays. He's a spent force.

He's not even worth 2m... he's all brand name and hype, forwards like Arouna Kone, Demba Ba, and Ricky fookin' Lambert contribute more up front.

I would rather have Emile Heskey to be honest

agreed!!!

To be fair, last time Heskey scored 4 goals it took him 28 appearances or his entire season to that in 2007-08. whilst Torres is on 4 in 13, not the worst ratio in the world, just under 1 in 3, but of course no where near the level of his wages or transfer fee should get you from a striker.

Torres gets better service, Heskey is better

Just a brain fart, if Torres is to be sold for around, let's say 20m, would you take him?

You have to be kidding! This would be a disastrous move - the guy is hopeless. I was so worried about this 'story' I forced myself out of bed to get to this site. It must be a joke surely? If hes not good enough for Chelsea - why are we interested?
THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN!

Why oh why are we still talking about strikers when what we NEED is a CB??????????????????????????
Go back to bed mate, it wont happen, bet he scores against us today though

As I said - utterly hopeless - he wouldn't have scored against us if we'd played until christmas.

Not for me sorry....he doesn't look like he wants to play in this country anymore. The lad needs to go bac to Spain imo.

Wouldn't spend the money on him, use it to acquire Falcao

Tin hat on but, being honest here, I didn't think he was any worse than our useless forwards on Sunday. They weren't up against as good a defence; couldn't control the ball, stay on their feet;give a decent pass; dribble; nor take the simplest of chances (Aguero header in 1st half) when it came.
Maybe whatever Torres has got is infectious.

Im gonna put my tin hat on now, Torres is bang back in form, another goal against Villa today and playing well.
I would go in for him January but with them selling Sturridge to Liverpool and Benites getting the best out of him i think weve missed the boat
