Quality tonight , never looked ruffled even when Steptoe came on , reads the game really well and has got pace , Pep did a good job on Boateng and Kimmich at Bayern hopefully Tosin will get to that level.

Was a big fan of his in the academy, last year I was a bit disappointed and thought he might just not make the step up.

This season though, particularly in the last 2 cup games, he's seemed a lot more comfortable with the speed of the game, and with that has come much better decision making in his passing and defending.

The potential there is huge - he's pretty quick, he's comfortable on the ball, he's 6'6'' and he's got a good eye for a pass.

When he fills out even a little he'll be a real unit, and presumably a threat at set-pieces too.

It's just a shame there's only 4 or 5 games like this per season, he really needs a lot more than that to see rapid progress. Hopefully after the semi-finals of the league cup (and/or a final) plus 1 or 2 FA Cup games, he might have come far enough to earn some Premier League games and he can progress from there, otherwise he'll have to go on loan I think.

filled me with a lot more confidence than mangala today. showed so much composure on the ball, probably more than bravo did.

guess that means we'll see mangala on the weekend then... sigh

Thought he was really good last night, was surprised at his level.

Started with Mangala 3 times now and twice looked clearly much much better ( last night and Wolves).

Made only one wrong pass (in extra time) otherwise was excellent.

Wouldn’t mind seeing him start a PL game soon.

One of the valuable lessons learned from last night is that Tosin is a better player than Mangala and should be our back up centre back. More than held his own against PL opposition

Looked good last night. Would be very comfortable with the idea of him.starting a few PL games over the next month or so if Vinny and Stones out

Much much better last night really pleased for the lad he is still going to be behind Mangala in the pecking order right but he looks a decent prospect.
