It is a bizarre thing to pick an argument over. The only thing he has said that makes sense is that £2M was a low fee for him but in some ways that seemed like the club looking after a lad who had been with them since the age of five but was not quite good enough for the first team squad.
It will be good if he does get a move this Summer so that City get a cut of the deal.
