Tottenham Hotspur thread (2015/16)

I've been watching how Alli handles himself on the pitch for some time now and he's a red card waiting to happen. Great for young kids to have confidence but there's a fine line. He had a spat with Fernandinho on Sunday. He just comes across as a cocky little shit after less than a season in the starting line up.

I think he's trying to show that he won't back down, or be walked over just because he's a kid. Fine line, and he does step over it a bit.

Can't stand him. Seems like a cocky, arrogant dick to me, acting the big I am because he's had a little bit of the spotlight. Compare that to someone like Kelechi, albeit not on the same level of success, or even Eric Dier.

I was impressed by Dier on Sunday, he looked a tw*t on the pitch but in a good football way - if that makes sense. Strong in the tackle and played it simple when needed, took his yellow card well to stop a Yaya break away.

Surely we should be getting an increase soon, if Spuds think they can get £30m a year.

according to daily fail they are in advanced talks with nike over a 30M-per-year deal....the fuckkk?????? if it s true then we surely need to tell them to give us 3/4 times the money they give us right now or just fuckkk offfffff....there is no way spurs will sell more shirts than us if this is about...

Can't believe Spurs got this far in the Europa League only to play the 2nd 11 in Dortmund and get mullered 3-0. It could have been 6, 7 or 8 but woeful finishing and some good saves kept the score down.

It was not fair - Spurs did not have Clattenburg and crew and without offside goals and penalties it was tough.

You simply cannot play under strength sides in any European competition. We get a ton of shit from the usual suspects for weakening the FA CUP side to ensure a good performance in Europe and progress. Spurs will be congratulated for prioritising the league. I suppose it depends what Spurs priorities are currently. Swings and roundabouts but they must win at weekend to justify Pocetinos decision. Just like we did.

There playing Villa away, I would have thought they could have played a stronger side last night and a weaker side against Villa!!
