Presentation was a bit crap.

It’s so sad, isn’t it? It couldn’t have been difficult to find someone, who is fully vaccinated to present the trophy and medals, or even to have used wipes and hand sanitiser.

As for the game, we fully deserved the victory, having dominated it from kick-off. However, there was always the chance that Spurs would get lucky and score on the break, though they never looked like doing so.

I love the League Cup; it was the first trophy I remember City winning (1970) and Dennis Tueart's overhead kick was all we had to cling to for 35 years and I hope we can take both records outright next season.

Congratulations to Pep and the boys. There could be another trophy in the bag next Sunday.
