Tottenham | Post-Match Thread | 4 League Cups In A Row!

Our finishing let us down today but I thought that was a brilliant performance. We controlled the game from minute 1 and played some lovely stuff. Fern just defies logic and looks like he could play another 2 or 3 years. Happy for Laporte as well as he is coming back to form at just the right time for us.

Lovely. Was awaiting the sucker punch from Son. Never came. Yet. Another. Trophy. At the Etihad South. Well done lads. Have that Ricky fucking villa. And FOYS. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS FOR THE TREBLE.

Was planning on going today but my 5 year old son got tearful as he wasn’t able to go and he loved going last year against villa.

must be honest was originally pretty gutted but just seeing him bouncing up the stairs in his city pyjamas singing city songs has made the decision well worth it. Thank you city for allowing me to share such special memories with my family we are so lucky to be living through this era.

Now let’s go and give everything against PSG

A great all round team performance thought we were comfortable throughout and thoroughly deserved it. A small payback for 81 a good day all round if a bit surreal at times.

Just coming back from the match and reading the Laporte sending off comments.....can’t recall the first tackle....but the important thing is he probably wouldn’t have made the second one had he been booked already

The back four were brilliant today, Mahrez was excellent and Sterling was a lot better than he has been lately.
I'm glad Kane didn't start because he had 5 or 6 decent touches in the 2nd half.
First trophy, title hopes even stronger now, roll on Wednesday.

It wasn’t always great, it wasn’t always pretty and we were wasteful (again) in front of goal but we completely deserved that. Another trophy for the cabinet.
