It's not another delay. Spurs haven't set an opening date since the Liverpool game was cancelled back in August.
This is just another update.
So who has led you a merry dance ? Levi, the owners, the media, or someone else, because season tickets were sold for a new stadium mate not for Wembley, or am I wrong.

Spurs fans are certainly pissed off - about the delay; about Wembley; about the lack of certainty; about the ticket rearrangements. Understandably so. The difficulty for the club has been that neither Mace nor the specialist subcontractors were able to put a date on when the remedial work and testing will be completed. They just didn't know what they were going to find or how extensive the problems were. Given that the club has been embarrassed before, they aren't going to risk setting another date until they have the required safety certificates.
As to why they haven't binned the idea of moving this season altogether, I would guess that that is primarily a financial decision. As you know, attendances at Wembley have plummeted. They are losing money every further game that they have to play there. Furthermore, if Spurs had unilaterally decided some time ago to play all games this season at Wembley, it would likely have seriously compromised their case for liquidated damages.
Looking ahead, they are due to play Brighton at "home" on FA Cup semi final weekend. Hmmm......
With regard to announcing a date for the first game at the new stadium, one further complication is the continued involvement of both Crystal Palace and Brighton in the FA Cup. Home games against those clubs are scheduled for the quarter final and semi final weekends respectively. So Spurs obviously can't guarantee those dates either. With specific reference to the Brighton game, there does appear to be some hope now that remedial work and testing will be complete by then and that the relevant certificates will have been received. In which case, there would be no fixture clash regardless of whether or not Brighton are still in the cup.
