Ineos as a team coming into this one strong (5 in the top 33). They will need everything they can get to get Thomas anywhere near Pogacar though.

Thought they did well staying upright in the downpour today. Obviously Pogacar is going to be the one to beat again but let’s hope one or two others can keep up with him.

I had a feeling there was something going on. I passed a Tour de France rider this morning on the A470 going towards Blaneau Ffestiniog this morning, he'd clearly taken a wrong turn but fair play to him, I gave him a wide berth and wished him well.

A few things could stop him: the crosswinds on the 16km sea bridge (tomorrow), cobbles (Weds, I think), crash, Illness or positive Covid test.
