Had an Airfix Messerschmitt ME 109 and a Spitfire with invasion stripes on the wings hung on my ceiling looking like they were in a dogfight as a kid.View attachment 71104
I used to spend ages looking through this Airfix catalogue and dreaming of owning the dearest model kit available. I think I actually spent longer looking at the catalogue than playing with the army of toy soldiers or the Panzer mark IV (short barrel) tank battalion that I had.
Bloody dinky again with they're god awful colours. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to paint them random colours.Had one also but ended up not in great condition. Also had one of these...

Kerplunk was a brilliant game and etcha sketch was really good too
Had one as a kid and our cat had exactly the same reaction! Cleared out some old stuff recently and it sold to a toy museum in Los Angeles for £60.Did anyone else have a Boglin? I once stuck it round the door to frighten Marmalade (the cat) and he went ballistic. Tried to attack it and then realised it wasn’t a living creature.

Marmalade was thick as fuck. He once snuck in to my mums room and hid in a wardrobe to avoid going out for the night. Sadly, he started purring and mum got out of bed to turf him.Had one as a kid and our cat had exactly the same reaction! Jonny 7 (rifle) one of my favourite toys but funnily enough reading this I was 5 and we were on our way back from our holiday in a caravan in Great Yarmouth the day of the world cup final in 66 on a coach. No idea of the score in them days but to be honest I don't think I knew anything about the tournament anywayIt was 1966 England had just won the World Cup, my Grandma and Grandad had been on Holiday to Great Yarmouth and they bought us a Rugby ball? Denton isn't really known for Rugby but the kids in our Grove had a brilliant few weeks knocking fuck out of each other, happy days
I think pilot training for this was "Dont miss with your first shot"Had one also but ended up not in great condition. Also had one of these...
