The sinkhole on the Mancunian Way has reopened this morning. Apparently there has been a slippage in the filling of the original sinkhole.

The contraflow that was in place to keep traffic moving(slowly!) has now been closed.

Avoid central Manchester by car at all costs when travelling to the game tonight

Will update if it reopens but at this point it doesn't look likely.

REOPENED 16/09/2015

Cheers mate was going to leave a little earlier, but looks as though I`ll be leaving even earlier,as it will be a bloody nightmare.

The Diversion takes you into town also! East bound I go down Stretford Rd and through Hulme and Ardwick but luckily I know little rat runs. West bound I'd be heading towards Apollo and through Hulme again. It's going to be cuntish for people who don't know the area as all around Lloyd St, Booth St, upper brook St is Bedlam at the moment at rush hour, like a feckin exodus!

I bet there is some (old) bugger on here that worked on the original construction. Please make yourself known so we can slag of your shoddy half arsed working practices.

I doubt it the sewer that collapsed is over 120 years old.
