Keepers come out at 11.10, the rest of the lads out at 11.25, they did some fitness work, shuttle runs, hops, jumping all that sort of stuff, bellamy is just absolutely rapid and berti (yes he is still alive and well) is absolutely massive when you see him in person, they then moved into some passing in tight areas with 2 in the middle tackling, robbie and elano just doing flicks and tricks and making gelson and caicedo look stupid!, robbie clearly enjoyed himself, all you could hear was him laughing and shouting all day long and then throwing in the odd 'ole' when he megged gelson for the 6th time!! robbie and elano started toy fighting and even hughes cracked a smile about it!
Then they did some attacking work with the inflatable dummies, passing and moving and getting the ball out wide with crosses, 1 touch passing then moved to 2 touch then a free game, given never came over and took part in any of the games, he was with hitchcock all session on their own.
Kompany came in with a crunching tackle on bellers (that's what he lads call him to), you could hear it from 20 yards away and it looked bad at the time but bellamy got up and had a little laugh with kompany and no hard feelings!
After training Kasper, bellamy and garrido stayed out practising free kicks and dunne was out with bowen doing a but of fitness and ball work.
Overall it was a very good session by the looks of things, the lads looked sharp and by the vocals and effort they treat training really seriously, caicedo is coming on very well and looked more stronger than he normally does, i was impressed with what i saw with weiss, looks very good indeed and one for the future, only absentees was vassell and bojinov, johnson apparently was not even at the training ground itself, session ended at about 1.10
The lads met back at carrington 3.00 this afternoon, some went home first and some stayed after training instead, coach at 3.15 and private jet to pompey at 4.15pm
