One for the locals. Bringing the lad to the WBA game and staying the night at the A-U-L Travelodge. Whats the easiest way of getting to the ground please, bus/tram/taxi etc? I've got the car but would prefer not to have to drive in if poss. Cheers.

The Travelodge on the Snipe (i.e. near the retail park)? I haven't took the bus in ages but would think the 236, 237 and 216 are still running and take you straight down to the ground. You can board the bus at a stop on the side of the road where B&Q is located.

Correct,although the journey will be at least twice as long due to the metro works.

Yes. Unless you fancy walking back. Walking will take you about 45mins. The bus will not be much quicker.

He would be going a mile out of his way just to get to that station...The 216 is about a min walk from that travelodge..

Or a taxi as john said.
