Travelling to and from Birmingham tonight

What a frigging nightmare. Took bloody ages to get there by car tonight. M6 was bad enough but then Birmingham traffic was crazy. And just as bad getting out again afterwards.
Hate that sodding ground.

Anyone else have problems or was I just unlucky.

On the way down we got to J.11 near Hilton Park at 5-50 but then took another hour and 20 mins to get to the ground, bloody nightmare.

Yeah, it wasn't good, to cap it off we couldn't find the fucking car after the game - took us an hour of wandering around to find the car park!

No not just you, took 3 hours from work in Hazel Grove to the ground, M56 and then M6 was shite, if I hadn't shelled out a fiver on the toll might have missed kick off. Wasn't bad on the way back after got away from the ground.

Ok, I'll get the 17:29 and change at Northampton.

Northampton

Train from Northampton to Birmingham New Street - cancelled. Next train in 30 mins, but delayed another 30 mins = 18.47.

Takes an hour from Northampton to Birmingham New Street. Game kicks off at 19:45.

55 pound taxi shared between two from Northampton to St. Andrews. Miss kick off.

City play absolute dog shit and draw.

Train home: 23:10. Get back into my room in lovely Bedfordshire at 1am.

AND YES, I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH LOYALTY POINTS FOR THE DERBY!
