You are right re 80/81 I used dodgy figures from Transfer market web site ! However, average did drop approx 7,000 the year after Francis left, which must have been partly due to him going and a big two fingers to Swales regime !Average in 80/81was just over 33500 more than champions Villa, we didnt win a game for 3 months, and just over 34000 81/82

I remember him being sent off after headbutting someone at Maine Road?

ReevesI've got a vague memory of him scoring a late winner against L***s sometime around the end of the year ('81?). The banjo players had parked the bus for the entire game, but Trevor scored at the Platt Lane end (IIRC).
