I know its not in the same league as "Uwe Rösler in the Greenman" but Trevor Morley was in the Weatherspoon's (JJ Moons) after the game .......... he was buzzing and joined in with the hour long constant singing of the Ballo song.

He also got a rendition of ......

"Who put the ball in Bradford's net, Who put the ball in Bradfords net, Trevor Trevor Morley"

Tried at one point to get "who stabbed Trevor in the arse" song going but it never materialised.

I posted a thread on this yesterday. The Balotelli song was the highlight of the day for me, the place was bouncing. We were the lads close to Morley who appeared to be the only ones in the pub who knew all the words. I even heard your Bishop song.

Apologies DD, only got back from Watford late yesterday so missed that thread.

The constant loop of the Ballo song was fantastic tho ......... I was nearer to the middle bar section with "our lot" (about 20 "older" lads) ....... I was singing all the words but I think most struggle with the middle bit of the song ie "Allergy to grass , when he plays he fucking class " and now that some are changing the lyrics its going to get more confusing.

It was bloody fantastic though ....... we went off to central London after that singing it all night.

Trevor Morley was at the Green Man too. Same time as Uwe actually.
Hell, even Kavelashvilli was at the Green Man.

Other former player seen by me or my pals during the day was the Goat, Ian brightwell and Gary Owen.

Great atmosphere in there after the match. Ballo song topped it off place was rocking. Went in the next pub down after it calmed down and tried gettin it going off in there. Only a few joined in.

Tube back to watford was good though.

I always remember seeing "Bobby" Brightwell before the 99 Gillingham game walking into the tube station on our/his way to Wembley...... He had a City shirt on, City hat and a flag draped over his shoulders ....... true blue that lad ... City fan thru & thru.

The "bottom" bar were the ones with it on constant loop. We were opposite Morley but on the other side of the room so right near your lot by the sound of it. The main bar were singing all the classic City repertoire but the back bar lads just kept banging away at it, just like that song should be sung.

If you heard "In 1963 we fell into division 2" sung loud and lustily about 8pm, we were the group who started that.

I Loved it in there i didnt want to leave.I stood back for a while just to take it all in..To see so many happy blues in there was amaizing.I asked Steve Eyre to do the Poznan for us and he wasnt sure...then Trev got hold of him and the pub went up.Next thing "Trevor on the table Trevor on the table" and everyone knew who he was.He loved it. Ex Players Coaches Supporters CITY CITY CITY!!!! all together best day and night of my life ..
